Wendy Stefanelli grew up in the DC area where she discovered painting in high school. An early fascination with collage inspired Wendy to merge drawing and painting, ultimately leading to her under graduate studies at the Pratt Institute and a BFA from The Academy of Art University. Following years of exploring diverse printmaking methods, she now specializes in the unique art of monotypes.

She has honed her craft at residencies around the world and many printmaking studios. Studies and printing include The School of Visual Arts, Anderson Ranch Arts Center, The Fine Arts Work Center, Manhattan Graphics Center at Powerhouse, Truro Center For The Arts At Castle Hill, The Woodstock School of Art,, The Open Center, The Rockaway Artists Alliance, Hampton’s Editions and The Skopelos Foundation For The Arts.

Wendy’s art has appeared in solo and group exhibits in Kingston, Woodstock, Brooklyn & Queens NY. She applies her eye for detail and sense of style with 30 years of experience in the film industry to the screen. Pieces from Wendy’s collection were featured recently in several television series & films including "And Just Like That”, "Black Rabbit” & "Players”. She creates in her Brooklyn studio and her home studio on the banks of the Delaware River in the Catskills.
